  The Celtic Ranch is a hidden treasure just a short drive from Kansas City. Situated on Main St. of an old Port town (yes, really - the river used to be at the end of Main). The front part of the store is filled with import goods, from food to sweaters, from Ireland, Scotland, and the UK. Move to the back of the store and you'll find The Snug. With the ability to sample almost any scotch or whiskey for 10% of the bottle cost you're guaranteed to find a spirit to your liking. Terry, the owner, is a consummate hostess and very knowledgeable should you have any questions. Right in line with Terry, all the employees are wonderful and always willing to help. Make the trip, you won't regret it. While you're there be sure to check out their events, such as their whisky tastings! Go to one and you'll be back for more!
